Hey Vince! Just wanted to let you know great DJ Scott was Saturday night! He was so nice and easy to work! Played a great variety of music and made the party fun and he really helped us out making announcements when we asked. Everyone had a blast and said how much they loved the music and the DJ! On April 24Th 2010 was our wedding day and it was the best day of our lives. Our wedding was a small but elegant backyard wedding, hosting about 80 guests and the DJ had to orchestrate everything from the ceremony to the reception and it couldn't have gone smoother without our DJ Tim and the services provided by Portillo Productions. Vince, who handled all the details was the least of our worries when planning for the big day. We were very particular about the details and Vince made everything go so effortlessly. Tim our DJ was simply awesome. Not only was he professional but very easy going and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Portillo Productions to anyone planning an event, and we will always use them for future celebrations!

Vince was a hit at my Company’s corporate party. He arrived early and set up prior to the guests arriving. He played a variety of music that pleased people of all generations and was open to taking all requests. Vince was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to booking him again.

We hired Portillo Productions to provide the game tables that were part of our company Christmas party. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism his staff showed our group, and how much fun it was! Without this added event, our party would have been a major flop! Vince was outstanding every step of the way in coordinating our event. Without a doubt Portillo Productions will be part of any future events we have!

He played such an amazing variety of the music we told him we liked. He was able to keep the party going, and keep everyone on the dance floor. My husband and I are not much of social butterflies and are definitely not ones to dance around a crowd but it was no problem with Vince as your D.J. We partied all night and had the time of our lives. I had multiple people ask for Vince’s business card starting with the day after the wedding. Even my photographer was asking me for his name and number to give to the engaged couples she works with. Everyone was so impressed with his services and I’d hire him again in a heart beat. "My husband and I have known Vince Portillo for 7 years through their work together in music projects. When we married, Vince was the only person we wanted to play piano at our ceremony and DJ our reception. As most brides-to-be know, wedding planning is time consuming; however I knew there was one thing I didn’t have to worry about – the music at the ceremony. With our blessing, Vince chose the songs he played on piano as the guests arrived and throughout the ceremony. He was accompanied by a fiddle player, Matt Brislawn, and they played music with a Celtic sound which I loved. While the guests made their way to the reception site, so did Vince. He had set up his DJ equipment before the ceremony so he was ready to start the music as the guests arrived. Vince has an immense collection of music from all genres. We wanted modern loves songs that meant something to us and he played our suggestions along with playing what he sensed the crowd wanted. When it was time to get the party started he played dance tunes and took requests. Vince helped keep the flow going with introductions and alerting everyone when we were transitioning to the bouquet/garter toss and cake cutting, etc. Two years later and we still get complements on the music that was played at our wedding.
